My first experience with massage therapy was over 20 years ago when my Grandmother utilized it as a complementary therapy during her battle with cancer. I saw, first hand, the benefits she received; being, relaxation, pain management, increased immunity, elevated mood and quality of life. I decided then that the field of complementary therapy was where I wanted to be. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 5 years, graduating with an Associates Degree from Virginia College's Therapeutic Massage Program with honors. What I enjoy most about being a massage therapist is being able to improve other's quality of life.
